Agree with you directionally, but as is often the case details matter. And these are not reciprocal tariffs utilizing Andy widely accepted meaning of the term reciprocal. These are a sledgehammer handed to Trump ( and I am generally a supporter) calculated in a manner that relates only to the trade deficit in goods and services. They do not consider that two issues that matter are comparative advantage and that trade is multilateral not bilateral. Peter Navarro knew that Trump has loved tariffs forever and therefore having handed him a hammer told him everything was a nail.These tariffs have turned this aspect of Trump’s economic policy into a clown show.

I beg to differ. The problem is that nobody can keep up with his pace. He is always there steps ahead of most people. I have faith in his abilities and his administration.

One of the prime reasons I voted for President Trump was for a safer, more economically secure future for my sons and grandchildren. Trump is delivering and will continue to do so, I am confident. I appreciate your explanation in layman's terms, Amuse.
