Can't be that hard to pull Google execs into Congress and ask them these questions.

I've noticed it - it's real - and it's unacceptable in a free society.

I am also fighting this problem with all current email subscriptions - MAINLY FROM AMUSE! More with other substack writers, but they're better than my Amuse account. I have set and reset EVERY rule in outlook and it makes no difference. I am now in the habit of checking my new emails ALWAYS in this order: 1 - go to trash folder, check for good emails - this is USUALLY where Amuse and Taibbi emails are sent, then empty trash folder. 2 - go to bulk folder and check for good emails - this USUALLY where stuff from Bongino and Bill Whittle are found, as well as most stuff from NRCC and republican office holders. I have two att.net accounts (one personal, one business) and one gmail business account. The gmail business account thru a corporation account system is by far the best for receiving emails directly, but I also have zero political emails to it.

I think you're leaving out one key factor. I don't know about Democrat emails. But most GOP emails actually ARE spam. Once you get on any GOP list, you get an unending flood of moronic and stupid emails, all asking for money. The "messages" are all written by boiler-room pros. Even the GOP politicians I like, I can't stand their emails. I can't imagine anyone would vote on the basis of them. And if you unsubscribe they just keep sending them. Hey, maybe the Dem emails are different?

I have an old AOL email account that I use for newsletters and misc stuff. I have found numerous instances of conservative newsletters ending up in my spam folder for no reason while liberal newsletters have never, ever landed in the spam folder. Coincidence, not a chance.
