The entire post 9/11 hysteria was so they could implement the Patriots Act which gives our government free reign over our rights. I complained in 2005 and I am complaining now. Our government is so incompetent that now WE have to prove who we are. I think the entire thing is 🐂💩.

You’re 100% wrong on this. Yes we all knew it was coming but we thought it would finally get derailed. They already search everybody who boards, There’s no reason for the government to track our names (and decide who can travel). They certainly didn’t require IDs of the illegal immigrants they flew across the country. As Ben Franklin said, free people don’t do this. If you people need that level of government oversight, move to Cuba or North Korea.

We all know the outrage is because this act came due in a Trump administration. If Harris had won, lefties would have gladly offered up several pints of blood, if required.

Just remember that REAL ID is simply proof of "legal presence". It does not establish citizenship. It's a shame it doesn't. Could have solved a lot of problems today.
